A U.S. Air Force F-117A Nighthawk is towed in front of a destroyed aircraft shelter at Ahmed Al-Jaber Air Base, Kuwait, on March 8, 1998. F-117A Nighthawk stealth fighters have been deployed to Kuwait in support of Operation Southern Watch which is the U.S. and coalition enforcement of the no-fly-zone over Southern Iraq. The Nighthawk is attached to the 8th Fighter Squadron, 49th Fighter Wing, Holloman Air Force Base, N.M. The aircraft shelter was destroyed during the Gulf War. DoD photo by Airman 1st Class Greg L.
